Beginning
in 1912, the Linwood Church of God
has been a thriving Christian community for almost a century.
Over
this great span of time we
have both watched and participated in community, national,
and global changes.
As
you can imagine there have been unbelievable cultural
shifts since this church began. If nearly 100 years of
experience has taught us anything it is that ministry
must be in constant flux and change while at the same
time presenting the unchanging Christ.

this church began
in 1912, it came into existence for the glory
of God and to connect people to Jesus Christ.
Now, nearly 100 years later, with all of the growth
and changes that have had to occur in the church
to keep pace with the changing world and anticipate
coming cultural shifts, we still exist for the
same purpose, the glory of God and to connect
people to Christ.
