Women's Ministries

Our Women's Ministry meets o the third Monday of every other month at 7:00PM at the church. We come together on that day for great food, fellowship, and for a wonderful word of God.

Our Goal as a Women's Ministry is to reach out to people in need, whether it is within the church or outside. We hope to lead many people to the Lord. We have Community Outreach Days where we may just take food and a goody basket to the local senior home. Thanks be to God for allowing us to do the things we do.

Galatians 6:9-10 ( The Message ) So let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the Right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.

Sunday School

Sunday School is for LIFE. Life today, even though it was established as a vital and relevant institution in 1769. At Linwood Church of God in 2008. Sunday School is still a vital and relevant part of our Educational Ministry.

"Vital in that we need real food for real life. We need the nourishment for life that only God's Word can give!
(Scripture: God's Word is the Bread of Life)
Relevant in that we see God's Word being fulfilled around us.
Relevant in that God's Word is full of LIFE! It's precepts and principles will guide you as you live day by day.

Come be apart of SUNDAY SCHOOL! Let our teachers help you discover the life-changing, life-giving, life-altering power of the Word of God.

Men's Ministries

VISION: Our vision is that all men who attend or encounters this ministry will become better husbands, fathers, grandfathers, and friends. That the Lord will bind us together as mighty men of valor as was we may encourage one another to go forward as Leaders in the body of Christ to impact lives for the Kingdom of God.

The Men's Ministry conducts a breakfast on each second Saturday of each month for business, fellowship, and worship.

Prayer Ministry

Regardless of what is taking place around us we, at Linwood, are committed to prayer. The Bible teaches that prayer/intercession is such a vital principle of the Kingdom of God that tremendous, even supernatural, things happen in response to it. We acknowledge that intercessory opportunity to participate with God for His kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:9)

Children Ministries

HisStudio is the Children's Ministry Department. Here at Linwood Church of God for young children. This area of ministry uses hands-on object lessons, puppets, and live skits that will allow each child to understand and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and develop an eternal, growing relationship with Him.

Music Ministry

Linwood CHurch of God's music department provides ministry opportunities for people who love to help lead people into the presence of the Lord through worship and singing.

We have ministry opportunities in the following areas:
Sanctuary Choir
Praise & Worship singers
Praise & Worship band

Requirements for membership:
Be a member of the Linwood Church.
Have a meeting with the Pastor
Have a meeting with the Minister of Music
Attend rehearsals and services.
