Women's Discipleship

Our goal as women of God is to reach out to people in need in our church, in our community
and across the world.

Matthew 25: 35-36, 40
For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick , and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me. And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Across our country today, there are many needs. We feel, as women of God, that it is our responsibility to reach out to people who are in need through prayer, visitation, feeding the hungry, being a friend, and giving our time to those who need our help.

We invite you to be a part of our caring group of women. Meetings are held every other month on the third Monday @ 7pm.

Sunday School

Though Sunday School was established as a Church Institution in 1769. Here at Linwood is still revelant.

Our educational ministries strive to be instructional as well as interactive and utilized. Creating methods to develope stron christian values.

Men's Ministries

VISION: Our vision is that all men who attend or encounters this ministry will become better husbands, fathers, grandfathers, and friends. That the Lord will bind us together as mighty men of valor as was we may encourage one another to go forward as Leaders in the body of Christ to impact lives for the Kingdom of God.

Prayer Ministry

Regardless of what is taking place around us we, at Linwood, are committed to prayer. The Bible teaches that prayer/intercession is such a vital principle of the Kingdom of God that tremendous, even supernatural, things happen in response to it. We acknowledge that intercessory opportunity to participate with God for His kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:9) and is vital for the health of the body and fruitfulness for the church ministries.

Children Ministries

HisStudio is the Children's Ministry Department. Here at Linwood Church of God for young children. This area of ministry uses hands-on object lessons, puppets, and live skits that will allow each child to understand and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and develop an eternal, growing relationship with Him.

Music Ministry

Linwood Church of God's music department provides ministry opportunities for people who love to help lead people into the presence of the Lord through worship and singing.

We have ministry opportunities in the following areas:
Sanctuary Choir
Praise & Worship singers
Praise & Worship band

Requirements for membership:
Be a member of the Linwood Church.
Have a meeting with the Pastor
Have a meeting with the Minister of Music
Attend rehearsals and services.
